District E in Eindhoven is the redevelopment of the (train) station area. 3 new (residential) towers will be built, on top of a plinth with shops and restaurants. The high-rise towers will become 170 m, 110 m and 76 m tall. The towers will house some 450 apartments, ranging in price and rent/buy. Underneath the buildings, a parking basement will be built with spaces for 'part-time cars' and bycicles. Underneath the square in front of the station another large bycicle basement will be built.
