TivoliVredenburg (Muziekpaleis Utrecht) combines the former Muziekcentrum Vredenburg (MCV), the poppodium Tivoli and the Foundation Jazz Utrecht (SJU). For that purpose, the former Muziekcentrum Vredenburg  has been extended with 4 new music halls. Above the new "Pop"hall, the Crossover hall and the Jazz hall have been situated. The new (round) chamber music hall has been built cantilivering above the existing  Symphony hall. Because of the large spans necessary for the halls, the structure has been made in steel. The spine of the building are two connected concrete cores, which in turn support the steel structure. The foyers, restaurants and 'squares' are situated between the halls as 'public' area.

Architectural firm 3XN from Aarhus, Denmark acquired the commission for the city hall in 2006, via an international contest.
The city hall does not only contain offices for the local authorities, it also houses a library, social centre, visual arts centre, a branch of UWV Werkbedrijf and the Wereldwinkel. There is also space for several shops. With this building, the municipality wants to radiate warmth, pride, ambition and quality. The design is light and spacious and intended to be transparent. This has been achieved partly by slightly rotating the floors in relation to each other, which creates a magnificent view on the first four floors from the ground level.

Kunstenpand Hart van Zuid Rotterdam

The project "Kunstenpand" (building of the arts) is an important part of the urban plan ‘Hart van Zuid’ in Rotterdam and will be the new location for the Zuidplein Theatre, a branch of the Library Rotterdam and several other cultural functions. It is located next to a public transportation hub and the main entrance of shopping centre Zuidplein.
Kunstenpand has approximately 12.200 m² bvo and, apart from an industrial appearance, an open and inviting plinth. The core of the building is the high reception hall. All functions are directly or indirectly related to this hall. It has the library, an exibition area and the foodcourt. There is also a podium for a number of users. The two theatre halls are further down the building.
