The town centre Vleuterweide project is a new district on the west side of the Leidsche Rijn in Utrecht. Narrow streets, squares and traditional Dutch facades are typical for this project. Besides shops, the project also contains a library, music school, cultural centre, health centre and several schools. In the centre of Vleuterweide, apartments and spacious city residences with beautiful outdoor areas have been realised. The apartments are located along the square and almost all have a view over the water. The residences, mostly (senior) apartments, are located above the shops, but are accessible from street level.
