The Haagse Passage, built between 1882 and 1885, is in the centre of The Hague. The ravages of time had left their mark and the steel of the glass roof prooved to be almost completely eroded at some locations, which made a total renovation necessary. Since the passage is part of the world heritage, the renovation had to be done under strict rules. Therefore the glass roof has been renovated in such a way, that it now seems as though they were cleaned instead of replaced. Special techniques were applied in order for the roof to maintain its authentic look.
